Mount Maunganui: Ever since Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes took over as England coach and captain, the team has been playing a different level of cricket.  Playing aggressive style test cricket.  Won 9 out of last 10 matches.  The media has named this new style of English cricket as Bazball.  Now its havoc fell on New Zealand, when Stokes and Co. declared the first innings of their first Test, on the very first day.  During this, he scored 325 runs in just 58.2 overs.  The spectators present in the stadium could not understand whether the Test match is going on or T20.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bowl first at the Bay-Oval.  England declared their innings on the first day after scoring 325 runs at the loss of 9 wickets.  He scored these runs in just 58.2 overs at an impressive run rate of 5.57 runs per over.  The new ball was to be used under lights in the day-night Test and England used it intelligently to take three New Zealand wickets at stumps.  New Zealand are now 288 runs behind England with only seven wickets remaining.
